One of my favorite shows at Art for Change, it was a media-diverse collection of highly engaging works relevant to several different issues effecting the queer community by local artists. There was a high turn out at the opening, and as he spoke to the crowd, his passion was contagious. Patrick has a way of inspiring you, and motivating people to take action. Part of this is his eye for identifying engaging work, the passionate way he speaks about it, and his ability to distill complex issues in a way that connects more people to them. The other part is undoubtedly the commitment and dedication that is evident in his actions and interactions with others, and consistently recognizing the contributions of those he works with.
