Ray Boone, a Writer for Film, Television, and Theatre, was born in West Islip, New York, and raised in the small town of Mamaroneck, only thirty minutes outside New York City. Nevertheless, he grew up in what's known as "The Friendly Village," a place where people from different ethnic, cultural, and religious backgrounds treat each other as family. Having a deep appreciation for his past, Ray decided to learn the craft of screenwriting at the School of Visual Arts in New York City and produce content portraying a multicultural and ethnic society. As an Armed Officer and K-9 Handler for a private security company for nearly two decades. Ray impresses his instructors, who have years of experience in the entertainment industry, with stories from his on-the-job encounters and writing ability. Ray then writes a spec script for his all-time favorite show, HBO's Entourage. Once his teachers evaluate the material, they hold one-on-one discussions with Ray, advising him to pursue screenwriting as a career. Also, through the kindness of a close friend, the script reaches the show's executives. They made a quote to purchase it; however, the offer was no longer available. Discouraged but not giving up, Ray wrote a screenplay based on the FBI, which received high marks, and he is currently developing it into an independent feature-length film. Ray graduated from San Francisco State University in December 2022 with a Bachelor's in Creative Writing.
