I am currently an Associate Director at Moody's Analytics, where I lead the development and launch of Sanctions360, a cutting-edge solution for enhanced due diligence in the regulatory sanctions space. I also am working on Next Gen tools powered by Ai/ML for multiple use cases and applications. At Moody's Analytics, I work with a talented and diverse team of data scientists, engineers, marketing, and operations to bring innovation to the KYC industry. Recently, I was given the chance to become a speaker at the 2024 ALPFA Convention in Las Vegas to an amazing audience of 3-4k Latino professionals.I also use my skills in transaction monitoring, data analysis, and presentation to conduct research and analysis on sanctions trends, risks, and best practices. Prior to joining Moody's Analytics, I was a blockchain analyst and financial crimes investigator at Crypto.com, where I helped form the first crypto financial investigations unit and performed investigations involving large-scale data. I am also an instructor at the University of Miami, where I teach the fintech bootcamp, covering topics such as Python, financial modeling, smart contracts, and cryptocurrency mining.
