Current Effectively and efficiently analyze multi-million-dollar defense contracts: Cost Plus Fixed Fee, Fixed Price Contracts, and T&M contracts with minimal assistance from supervisor. Reviewed standard audit programs, audit steps, historical work papers, reports, other guidance materials, and drafts routine and pro forma audit reports or segments of reports covering audit steps performed, including findings and conclusions, in accordance with previous reports and agency procedures. Composed reports with financial facts, findings, and logical conclusions for dissemination to customers and supervisors. Maintained audit working papers including preparation of schedules, summaries, and reconciliations as instructed or appropriate. Prepared audit report conclusions per Generally Accepted Government Auditing Standards (GAGAS). Performed assigned audit steps such as tests and examinations of contractor’s direct labor and material costs. Checked reports, records, ledgers, and other documents against invoices, receipts, payroll slips, and other source documents. Verifies appropriateness of charges for materials and labor and determines that transactions have been properly recorded. Analyze accounting records, documents, and other relevant information through transaction testing to assure compliance with accounting principles, operating procedures, and laws and regulations. Actively and positively participates with other team members, providing updates on the status of audit assignments, sharing information, and identifying requisite revisions to the program and/or annual team goals. Maintain professional manner and working relationships with team members, associates, contractor and other government personnel. Prepares working papers and analyzes contractor data using automation tools. Present and perform with knowledge and skills of using Wide Area Workflow (WAWF), Audit Planning and Performance System (APPS) and Microsoft Office & Outlook.
