Executive Director of a high-profile agriculture membership organization representing 1000 farmers, ranchers, and consumers. Daily interactions include governmental agency communication, volunteer management, consumer education, media relations, fundraising, office and staff management, working with a Board of Directors, and policy development and implementation. Butte County Farm Bureau is a non-profit organization of farmers, ranchers and consumers with over 1,000 members throughout the county, and is part of California Farm Bureau Federation's 20,000 members throughout the state. Our organization works not only with members, but also with elected officials, media, government agencies, educators, and the public to analyze and solve issues (both social & economical) facing the agriculture community.
