Responsible for execution, delivery, and oversight of all strategic and discretionary projects in Allstate Investments – the Asset Management Business Unit of the Allstate Insurance Company.Notable successes include:Transformed Allstate Investments’ business application platform, replacing bespoke legacy trading applications and data warehouse with vended services and solutions for trade order management, investment risk, investment master data management, and performance measurement and attribution integrated using a message based, hub-and-spoke model. Substantially increased investment capabilities, while enabling streamlined operations that reduced back-office support costs by >$20 Million annually.Reduced annual hardware costs by 45% ($2.5 Million annually) and decreased development and deployment time by a factor of 4 by leading the migration from physical, dedicated servers to an internal private cloud using virtual servers deployed on commodity hardware while instituting Continuous Integration and Continuous Deployment Best Practices and Agile Methodologies.With Business Unit CIO, led effort to transform IT Organization. Replaced contractor dominated staffing model with employees and offshore resources, expanding capacity by 175% while holding costs flat and maintaining service levels. Reorganized delivery model to allow for greater focus on strategic initiatives, partnered with Human Resources to implement new employee compensation and career model, developed multi-year staffing plan, and led efforts to identify and recruit new employees.

Led Allstate Investments Technology and Operations Program Office. Responsible for oversight of discretionary projects, as well as IT Governance, Systems Testing and Systems Development Lifecycle processes and reporting. Built Program Management Office responsible for program management functions (including capacity planning, business case development and tracking, issue and risk management, compliance, cost management, project definition and delivery, systems development lifecycle processes, and testing governance). Gained operational efficiencies allowing additional 15% ($2 million annual) to be devoted to strategic projects, while achieving substantial improvements in project execution.

Senior Manager - Agent Administration and Compensation SystemsResponsible for operations and development for Producer Administration and Commissions. Managed a team of ~50 resources with an annual budget of $6 million who were responsible for insuring timely and accurate payments of over $3 billion in annual commissions and bonuses to producers.Planned, organized and led the program office and integration team for a $30 million, multi-release, implementation of a new, SAP based, enterprise producer administration and commissions system that enabled cost savings of over $3 million annually.
