About Fran Rivera
With over fifteen years of experience in the hospitality industry, my career has been driven by one core principle: providing a level of service that makes everyone - colleagues and guests - feel like they belong. I believe in pouring my heart into every transaction, whether it’s building relationships with my team or delivering exceptional service to clients.Because of this, I’ve had the privilege of forming lasting friendships that have supported me through moments of pure exhaustion and celebrated my successes. One such friend has been my rock and cheerleader, embodying the spirit of camaraderie that I strive to bring to every aspect of my work. Having the types of friends and colleagues who value relationships as much as I do... that's been invaluable.Serving our guests is the other side of that same coin. We're entrusted not only with their desires for exceptional experiences, but we also are entrusted with being good stewards of their wellbeing and safety. Every guest encounter is treated with the utmost respect, internally keeping in mind that we're caring for someone's beloved, while externally maintaining the polite, courteous, and friendly demeanor that is a trademark of Marriott. From those experiences, I developed an acronym that helps to shape each and every day; I learned to be A.L.I.V.E. – Always Live in Victorious Expectation. This mindset helps me maintain a positive outlook on the future, expecting great things to happen for myself and those around me. Fostering an environment where "all ships rise;" everyone feels valued, appreciated, and seen. If I can lead with my heart, as well as my mind, then I can leave a legacy of joy and positivity.
Listed skills include Event Management, Event Planning, Marketing, Customer Service, and 21 others.

Co-Founder
Flourish Collective was born out of a desire to guide small business owners (SBOs), employees of small businesses, and hospitality students/young professionals (YPs) through Human Resources and Organizational Development challenges that arose as a result of the pandemic. We were saddened by the negative impact of SBOs shutting their doors. We were discouraged to see so many YPs leave Central Florida and return home to other markets or states. SBOs and YPs were in the same position: without work, they couldn't financially sustain themselves. Due to this, our goals were ideated and executed through Flourish Collective. Our objectives were to help YPs navigate the unique challenges of starting their careers in hospitality in the midst of industry instability and help them connect with job opportunities that made sense. Simultaneously, we provided support to wedding and events businesses by providing strategic approaches to the ever-changing landscape of guest service, employee needs, and business development. We helped improve business processes, streamlined daily operations, and assisted in identifying talent that had the ability to support daily operations at the foundational level. To that end, we focused on a holistic approach that set both groups in motion towards achieving goals while avoiding burnout, thus creating an environment that was mutually beneficial. It was truly amazing to share our ideas, and to see so many inspired by our work. As the aftermath of the pandemic slowed down, and whereas SBOs and YPs slowly leveled out, we realized the time had come to close the chapter on this iteration of Flourish Collective. Although this decision wasn’t made lightly, it came with lots of appreciation for the journey, an open heart for the future, and a very happy pair of friends.
