Ruah is an independent, not-for-profit community service organisation operating more than 20 different programs to support our clients. Our services combine to provide wraparound support for people dealing with the trauma of homelessness, family violence and chronic mental illness. We also provide legal advice, support, and advocacy in the areas of mental health law, care and protection, family and domestic law and homelessness.I'm proud as the GM People & Culture to support ~300 People (staff, students and volunteers) of Ruah who are based in Perth, Geraldton and Albany.I have the privilege to lead a team that focuses on our people, so they can focus on our clients. We provide People & Culture Partnership, Learning & Organisational Development, Cultural Advice and Aboriginal Employment, and look after Facilities, Assets & Safety all as part of our employee's experience. HIF is a WA not-for-profit Member organisation providing private health insurance across Australia. The business has grown from 60 to 117 people and $114m to $170m revenue during my tenure and looks after 105,000 lives nationally.I have built and grown a team of 5 (peak at 8) specialising in talent acquisition, employer branding, performance development, full lifecycle talent management, culture and engagement, health and wellbeing, manager and front-line leader coaching and mentoring, and learning & development. I also oversee HIF’s head office facility for security, access and emergencies. Within this I am responsible for several operational and capital budgets.

Amcom was a business-to-business telecommunications, data network, unified communications and cloud services provider. Having the opportunity to be a part of this successful WA-grown business, operating on a national platform, was an exceptional experience. Amcom had over 340 staff nationally with a mix of blue collar, technical, and corporate employee bases. Following the acquisition of L7 Solutions I gained a deeper appreciation for successful business strategy and organisational development through its people. This was been an important commercial opportunity while I continued with my MBA studies.

Landgate is the Western Australian statutory authority responsible for property and land information.This position delivered comprehensive people services to approximately 950 staff across five locations in WA and oversaw several critical HR business functions while also partnering to deliver on key HR outputs. I had management responsibility for a team of 10 FTE across functional HR business streams: Employee Relations, HR Business Partnering, HRIS, OSH, and Payroll.In this role I led and managed the human, physical and financial resources for the People Services department. Specialising in the areas of ER/IR, OSH, injury management, policy, HR reporting, management of the HRIM system and payroll.
