    2021 - Winning concept design for a £150m mixed use scheme including retail, hotel and residential towers in Gibraltar 2021 - New retail park development in Liskeard2019-2020 - Major new retail park on gateway site into plymouth2018 - Bishop Justus School extensionsProject architect for 4no. new extensions to a school on the outskirts of London. The scheme incorporated some interesting brick detailing, green roofs and vertical extensions on top of previous extensions. 2017 -2018: Mixed use retail park, PlymouthProject architect for retail and leisure park on the outskirts of Plymouth City centre consisting of 100 bedroom hotel, 800m2 retail unit, 800m2 gym, restaurant, pub, and drive through fast food units. 2016-2017: 220 Apartment PRS schemeSimon was concept architect for Plymouth's first proposed large scale PRS scheme which is set in a prominent waterfront location overlooking the historic harbour. Simon has provided the initial concept idea and developed it through into a working scheme. This involves two 13 storey towers, one offering high-end apartments with large double height entrance lobby, lounge area, gym, roof gardens and parking. The other tower provides private saleable luxury apartments.2016-2017: 36 Luxury Student apartments Simon was project architect for Plymouth's first real luxury student apartments within the centre of town. Each room and apartment is finished to a very high level, with the latest in high end appliances and gadgets. Student kitchens have designer kitchen units, high-end brand cookers and fridges, 65inch LCD screens, popcorn machines, wine coolers and coffee makers. Bedrooms are designed in the style of 5* hotel rooms with dark woods, controllable lighting and stylish ensuite bathrooms.2016: Ashdene House student housing competitionFinalist for stylish student accommodation building on the outskirts of London. The design used brick as the primary material to link in with the local context.

The hotel will be Westins first UK 5* hotel and is aiming to be one of their flagships. The building will span across a busy city of London road and will have views of the city, the Thames river and St Pauls Cathedral.Responsibilities include managing the architecture team, coordinating the design with consultants , preparing construction packages, assisting the contractor and presenting scheme updates to team2014-2016: 181 Bedroom hotel for Best Western, Wembley, LondonProject Architect for 181 bedroom hotel in Wembley. Conversion of existing 1980s office block to hotel for Best Western. The works included a 3 Storey vertical extension, 2 storey rear extension and basement works. Lead designer / coordinator for tender package through to construction2013-2015: 292 Bedroom 5*Hilton Bankside, LondonArchitect involved in the delivery of the 5* star Hilton hotel in Southwark, London. Completed Sept 2015. Responsibilities included preparing construction packages, coordinating structure, facade and m&e services. As one of the lead architects we joined the contractors team to work from site for 4 months.2013-2015: 206 Bedroom 4*Hilton Hotel. Leeds14 Storey tower in the heart of Leeds city centre for 206 Bedroom Hilton Hotel. The Hotel has a sky bar lounge at roof level accessed by dedicated external lift, gym, restaurant, conference space and grand entrance reception. The hotel was one of the first projects to be completed as part of a multi-million pound regeneration scheme within Wembley. 2013-2013: Mews house renovation, MayfairSimon was joint architect for a contemporary reworking of a Mews house within the Grosvenor estates, London. The scheme which included complete internal strip out, new layouts, basement works, luxury interior design, and contemporary landscaped garden.
