Laura began in residential finance in 1988 processing loans. In 1994, she was initially licensed as a real estate salesperson, becoming a broker in 2002 in California. Since then, Laura has had a varied and unique career path that has provided a virtually unparalleled problem-solving skillset with a focus on compliance. She has owned and/or managed multiple real estate corporations, including two Reg D securities, leading to operations management of international residential development for a US company exporting system-built housing. Having owned her own magazine from 1998 to 2008, Laura understands marketing and sales presentations and delivering KPI that drives business. In between these efforts, Laura was the CTO for a mobile app platform and also worked in medical device trials for technology that was eventually returned to the university where it was developed. From residential housing to the cannabis markets, Laura is still currently involved in the administration of multiple cannabis licenses in Nevada, California, and Montana, with a focus on taxation and compliance, which lead to her position in the C-Suite with a publicly-traded company in the nutraceutical industry. When the public company stalled, Laura landed on her feet with fresh residential licensing in Montana and a new passion - The Liberty Projects, Inc. TLP is a 501c3 that rescues wild mustangs from the round-up in Nevada utilizing veterans through equine therapy to help both live their best lives.
