Deployed broadband solution to 294 malls in less than 12 months and over 1,700 retail stores in 90 days without negatively impacting the customer experience during holiday shopping.MerchantWired was a very fast moving start-up that was the brain child of David Simon (CEO of Simon Property Group) to deploy broadband infrastructure into enclosed malls and sell access to the broadband to the inline retailers. Mr. Simon developed a consortium of other mall owners so that retailers could gain access for all their locations across the various owners. Initial role was in Retail Integration which was responsible for deploying routers into all store locations so the mall infrastructure could be accessed. Within 90 days, promoted to Director of Mall Deployments and was responsible for the management of all the cabling and head-end equipment that had to be deployed to the mall locations. Was given additional responsibilities over telco and provisioning to ensure that all circuits were deployed to the mall locations in a timely manner.
