During the period as a Research assistance in IBET/ITQB, worked in the Stress by Antibiotics and Virulence in Enterococci laboratory, developing work in dissemination of Vancomycin resistance, using diverse molecular biology techniques. The main goal of the study, was to understand the role of food isolated strains in the dissemination of the resistance of vancomycin and by genomic comparison try to find differences in the genome of two clones, one isolated from a nosocomial infection and one isolated from cheese. Also had as function the management of the laboratory.
