“There’s a crack in everything and that’s how the light gets in.” This line in a way resonates with the story behind CMM Languages. Being a technical translator for (8+ years) opened my eyes to the dynamics behind the language industry. A lack of professionalism in the way translation was dealt with as a service especially at a time when it began to be recognized, coupled with a boom in the IT sector; it seemed like the right time to bridge this gap by creating a platform that emphasized on quality linguistic solutions.From the time of its inception in the year 2008, CMM Languages has now built a network of 480+ linguists, both Indian and internationals; and provided language solutions to roughly 815 clients.Some of my responsibilities at CMM include:♦ Overseeing daily operations ranging from business development, marketing and project management across 7 departments.♦ Focusing on overall growth of the company by capitalizing on opportunities such as employee training, client retention, etc.♦ Managing crisis situations arising between any of stakeholders.♦ Identifying areas and planning for innovations in product and service quality, marketing and client engagement strategies.
