Our team was relatively small so, although I was officially a Syndicate and Distribution Intern, I also worked closely with the origination and execution side.On the origination side, I mostly assisted in research activities including corporate and financial analysis, market analysis, debt maturity analysis, debt covenant analysis, etc… I used this research to draft pitch decks for our directors to use in debt or equity proposals for our clients.For execution, I supported the core team with anything they needed another hand on including investment teasers, daily rate update announcements, peer-comp analysis, financial projections, etc... And though limited, I also worked on updating term sheets. I also got involved in a lot of administrative work where I helped process and document over 500 ATPs from investor bond purchases.On the distribution side I also prepared, updated, and circulated reports, memoranda, order books, and letters to QIBs and SAs. I participated in many pricing and allocation meetings where I was in charge of running various simulations on excel. I also worked alongside other underwriters in weekly huddles to discuss next steps and the current investor demand. The team and I also organized and hosted the bi-annual IPO 101 panelist webinar event in collaboration with SEC Chief Operating Officer with over 30 unique companies attending which aimed to educate private company executives on the benefits and disadvantages of IPOs as well as how it could benefit them.

Evaluated three vertical farming companies and analyzed balance sheets and income statements using multiples such as IRR and Payback to determine which model worked best for a Philippine Startup.Conducted due diligence by doing research on other vertical farming models.Organized and conducted meetings with the CEO's and CFO's of these companies to determine practicality of the models, product packages and pricing, and logistics.Created pro-forma income statements to determine the profitability of each of the models.

Digitized the inventory management and employee scheduling system with excel and trained employees on implementation.Automated invoicing system using Xero software which facilitated the collection of overdue accounts.

Led a team of 5 in the financial audit of a PR & Marketing firm for its last 5 years of operations. We broke down their financials and used our findings to inform recommendations regarding the restructuring of the company’s pricing model in order to optimize profits. We examined and conducted extensive due diligence, met with pricing experts, and looked into industry standards to gain insight into the competition and position our clients accordingly.

Observed and shadowed the director of operations of the modern pig farm.Assisted in the ear-tag tattooing categorization process for piglets.
