I intend to continue my research activities in the field of social sciences and interdisciplinary ocean science. I love to work for often marginalized and underestimated small-scale fishing communities and uphold their immense contribution to society and the economy. My research interests are small-scale fisheries governance, market access and value chain in fisheries, vulnerability and viability of small-scale fisheries, and conservation and sustainability of marine fisheries resources.
