- Collaborated with design and manufacturing groups to detect assembly issues with the wiring harness early in the design process in order to save the project from costly tool changes in series production- Identified and resolved over 100 production issues through virtual validation (CATIA V5 experience) and prototype builds- Designed a novel clip (German Patent PA 2013215074) for routing wires through a congested area with small tolerances; implemented on multiple BMW products lines, saving company estimated $0.7M over 5 years
