I am a senior Mechanical Engineering student at The University of Texas at Austin. I am currently seeking a manufacturing and design internship for Summer 2018. I have practical experience within the manufacturing and design field, including constructing a prototype that walked on water, designing a cyclical solution for ArcelorMital’s steel waste disposal and building a prototype for a remote controlled car. The above projects demonstrate my technical skills in SolidWorks, Python and MATLAB, and made me proficient at creating detailed mechanical drawings for piece part and assemblies through meticulous design model evaluation. The projects also reflect my ability to work in a team, which thereby honed my communication skills. I am pursuing my interest in the business field, apart from my passion for mechanical engineering, through the Business Foundations Program. I have been working as a Business Development Analyst at ILTEX LLC over the past three summers, where I quantify business intelligence with economic models to evaluate new opportunities and assist in managing imported goods.
