An experimental quantum hardware engineer with an extensive experience on several qubit designs (trapped ion, ultra-cold neutral atoms, and naturally trapped rare-earth-ion-doped solids), atomic physics systems, diffraction limited optical systems, lasers (from UV to IR), atomic clocks, and vacuum systems. As a quantum physicist contribute to the developments of quantum memory for light with more than 16 high impact peer-reviewed journal papers published in prestigious journals such as PRL, and several successful research grant awards. As an optical engineer proficient in Zemax for optical design, analysis, assembly, and calibration played a pivotal role in Google’s AR optical metrology team, overseeing fixture preparation and fostering collaboration with external vendors.
