With ten years of extensive experience, I possess a deep understanding of climate change impact analysis, vulnerability assessment and adaptation, climate modeling, integrated water resources management (IWRM), sustainable environmental management, river morphology and other development projects in Bangladesh.Throughout this tenure, I have continuously worked with various technical advisory teams from renowned organizations, including EKN, Twynstra Gudde (TG), Mott MacDonald, Rijkswaterstaat, Deltares, IHE Delft Institute for Water Education, Wageningen University, ADB, WB, GCA, CEGIS, and IWM.I have strong experience in analyzing climatic parameters, their changes over various future periods, and the impacts of these changes on hydrology, agriculture, natural resources, health, and disaster events (e.g., floods). I also have experience running regional climate models to generate detailed climate scenarios for Bangladesh. My research activities have involved assessing sea level rise along the Bangladesh coast and its regional variations under climate change conditions. I played a crucial role in preparing climate change scenarios for Bangladesh under the Bangladesh Delta Plan project and developed future climate change scenarios. I have vast knowledge and expertise in climate models, downscaling, representative concentration pathways, and shared socio-economic pathways.I played a pivotal role in addressing funding challenges related to the Delta region by developing the climate rationale for six Green Climate Fund (GCF) concept notes. These notes were based on the principles of Adaptive Delta Management (ADM) and holistic climate change strategies. Collaborating closely with IDCOL to improve the content of draft concept notes. Additionally, I diligently updated the concept notes with recent data and innovative project ideas, thereby increasing the likelihood of securing GCF funding. Furthermore, I actively advocate for nature-based solutions within GCF projects.
