This includes creating climate-resilient infrastructure and promoting sustainable agricultural practices.Vulnerability Assessment: Identified vulnerable communities and ecosystems within the project area. This project aims to minimize the risks of floods and erosion along specific river stretches, creating a safer environment for those living in these areas.Responsibilities:Reviewing the contractor’s submissions including programme, method statements, quality plan, health & safety plan, environmental management plan, periodic reporting and other documents as necessary. Reviewing the contractor’s baseline / pre-work / post-work / diving surveys. Preparing implementation design drawings based on pre-work surveys. Checking contractor’s dumping plans and strip plans to confirm technical compliance. Reviewing contractor’s As-Built records. Advising SMOs on a day-to-day basis in contract management and quality assurance. Documenting daily all construction activities for incorporation into registers and construction completion reports, including diving records. Regularly checking quality and documenting the work quality.

Worked as a Researcher / Climate Change Expert in the "Support to the Implementation of the Bangladesh Delta Plan 2100" (SIBDP 2100) Projects from 2018 to 2023.Responsibilities:Concept Notes:Developed and refined project concept notes/ideas for GCF funding applications, focusing on areas like agriculture development, coastal embankment improvement, and flood risk management.Stakeholders Engagement:Coordinated with the General Economics Division (GED) and other line ministries, agencies, and national implementing entities (e.g., IDCOL and PKSF) for project development and concept note finalization. Organized stakeholder consultation workshops and meetings to gather feedback and refine project proposals. Worked with the Bangladesh Water Development Board on GCF concept notes for climate-resilient irrigation, coastal embankments, char development, and water infrastructure in haor basins.GCF Country Programme:Worked on initiation for including the six proposed projects in Bangladesh's updated GCF Country programme and pipeline. Prepared presentations and coordinated closely with the NDA to ensure these projects are prioritized and included in the country's GCF strategy.Climate Change Challenges:Developed and implemented strategies to address climate change impacts on human health, livelihoods, food security, nutrition, and water availability focusing on minimizing displacement and social crises through climate-resilient project development.

Mainly involved developing 26 baseline study reports and formulating BDP Strategies and Investment Plans.Responsibilities:Assisted in the preparation of BDP 2100 including vision, mission, goals, scenarios, adaptation pathways, strategies and no regret project concept ideas for BDP 2100 investment planning with cost estimation based on the outcome of the stakeholder consultation which is vital and one of the preconditions for successful outcomes of these projects’ implementation in line with the Bangladesh Delta Plan 2100.Reviewed pre- and feasibility studies, plans and strategies related to water resources, climate change and environmental issues to identify gaps and suggested appropriate measures.
