As the Head of Technology at Cartlow, I spearhead the design and architecture of multiple modules for our groundbreaking Circular Commerce platform. This platform plays a pivotal role in transforming the reverse supply chain ecosystem across KSA and UAE by streamlining processes such as Returns Management, Trade-Ins, and Diagnostics. Through our cloud-based SaaS services, we enable customers to access a wide range of pre-owned and refurbished electronics at unbeatable prices, reinforcing our commitment to quality and affordability.Since August 2020, I have been instrumental in establishing Cartlow's development center in Pakistan, where I have built a team of over 40 talented developers. My role involves overseeing the design and architecture of application modules, leveraging technologies like PHP, Laravel, CakePHP, MariaDB (MySQL), Redis, Kafka, Clickhouse, Kotlin, Swift, and Elasticsearch/Solr for enhanced search capabilities. I also implement performance monitoring using Prometheus and Grafana to ensure our platform's reliability across AWS, DigitalOcean, and Google Cloud Platform. My efforts focus on advancing Cartlow's technological framework, supporting its mission to reshape the Circular Commerce industry in the region.
