During a career in financial management and accounting spanning almost 16 years, I have acquired considerable expertise working alongside senior management to drive profitable business growth whilst focusing on achieving full compliance with International Financial Reporting Standard (IFRS).Through the provision of detailed and accurate financial and management reporting, I have been instrumental in the business critical decision-making process, enabling companies to move forward with projects that can add significant value. I have also collaborated with internal and external auditors, and implemented their recommendations, to ensure the accuracy and integrity of financial statements.Passionate about driving positive change, I have an instinct for identifying opportunities to improve efficiency and performance, both from a financial and operational perspective. In many of my roles, I have taken the lead on the roll-out of POS & ERP systems, processes, policies and procedures and I am never afraid to challenge the status quo.With professional exposure to various industry sectors throughout the Middle East, from banking to manufacturing, retail and F&B, I can adapt with ease to differing requirements and expectations and can integrate effectively into cross-cultural environments.
