Established in 2020, WCP is dedicated to environmental restoration, research and cultivating educational opportunities. The 432-acre Preserve celebrates the rugged high-desert beauty and solitude that are the defining characteristics of central Idaho. The Preserve is located at the base of the White Cloud Mountains, near the confluence of the East Fork of the Salmon River.The Preserve will work to improve the quality of its land and river health to support fish and wildlife, and to conserve natural resources. It is a refuge for overwintering elk, deer and wild horses and a biodiverse habitat for salmon, trout, pronghorn, eagles and wildflowers. The Lodge at White Clouds Preserve is primarily used for staff and board retreats for local nonprofits. We are cultivating creative ways to utilize The Lodge to serve as a venue for community, connection, research, and education with local schools, universities, volunteers, and beyond. WCP also offers educational scholarships to local students annually.

Heart of Idaho Animal Sanctuary’s mission is to rescue, rehabilitate, find permanent homes for, and make every reasonable effort to offer permanent residence to animals in need. We will be a voice of advocacy and education for animal welfare, humane treatment, and population control. We hope to encourage compassion for animals through our work.

-Manage database and track membership of over 11,000 supporters.-Process ~4k incoming gifts totaling over ~$2.1 million a year.-Give gratitude to members through written and verbal acknowledgements.-Support development mailings.-Support expansion of the volunteer programs and recruit volunteers for development purposes.-Execute administrative and office support as needed.-Supported the Annual Wild Idaho Conference 2018 & 2019.-Managed the 2019 Wild Idaho Silent & Live Auction.

-Manage communications and ensure guest satisfaction as an Airbnb Superhost.-Administer and consult on development, procedures, systematic efficiency, hospitality, housekeeping and quality assurance. -Oversee tenant relations and facilities management.

-Action Learning Team member: A VISTA Leader’s Guide: Coach, Support, and Foster Successful Service.-Recruited and managed over 8+ statewide Volunteers in Service to America (VISTA).-Coordinated new member trainings and provided mentorship to AmeriCorps members.-Facilitated resource and program development with affiliated partners.-Convened multi-organization national service projects and volunteerism activities.-Managed website content and digital communications.

-Managed employees and local vendors.-Evaluated and implemented effective business strategies to build market capacity. -Implemented community and economic development strategies in collaboration with local farmers, business owners, and community members.-Promoted and advocated for sustainable farming practices, as well as fostered the ability for consumers to be more informed of their options and opportunities to support them. -Shared our shelves and kitchen as a hub for the distribution of sustainable produce and products that contribute to the livelihood of our customers, community farms, and entrepreneurs.
