Michalis is the Head of Cyber Security for Vodafone Greece. He has more than 17 years of cybersecurity experience in the fields of “Cyber Security & Data Privacy”, “Digital Trust” and “ICT Governance, Risk and Compliance”. Before joining Vodafone, Michalis was leading the Cyber Security consulting practice in PwC Greece, delivering large-scale and/or complex cybersecurity projects within highly regulated environments – mostly on Financial Services, Energy & Utilities, Government and Telecommunications Sectors.Michalis holds an MSc in “Information Security & Computer Crime” from University of Glamorgan, an MSc in “Management of Business, Innovation & Technology (MBIT)” from Athens Information Technology (AIT) as well as a BSc in “Software Engineering” from University of Glamorgan. He also holds the following professional certifications: CIPM, CIPT, CISM, CISSP, CDPSE and ITIL. He is also “Certified ISO 27001 Lead Auditor”, “Six Sigma Green Belt Certified” and “COBIT5 accredited Trainer”.For the period 2011 to 2013 he was acting as the “Chief Information Security Officer (CISO)” for PwC Greece. Michalis is also Past President of the Board of Directors (BoD) of ISACA Athens Chapter (www.isaca.org).
