This has sharpened my skills in data analytics techniques which I can implement in other domains to assist the data-driven decision-making process. An EngD program is a 2-year post-master program to become a technological designer. It is an alternative to a PhD trajectory. The difference is their focus: a PhD is focused on a career as an independent researcher, and an EngD is on a high-level position in industries or companies.

Standardized FAT (Factory Acceptance Test) process of vibrating feeding systems and prevented delivery of underperforming machines.4. Finalized the budget and production plan of a robot gripper as per the project deadline.

Barcelona Area, Spain

1. Completed techno-economic feasibility of a 260 KWp roof-top solar PV panel system for an office of UNICEF.2. Surveyed cost benchmarks among 12 solar PV panel-based mini-grid projects located in South America, Africa and Asia.3. Modelled solar project for an island of Micronesia with standardized sets of 48 and 96 solar panels for convenience in budgeting, modelling, transportation and installation.

1. Prepared financial proposal with feasibility of an industrial roof-top 1MWp solar PV project.2. Introduced Spanish solar PV panel manufacturer as a potential vendor through a factory visit and a business negotiation meeting.

Brac Uganda Country Office, Kampala, Uganda

1. Prepared the yearly procurement and logistics plan for different development programs (i.e., microfinance, health, agriculture and others) which reduced the lead time by 20%.2. Proposed solar home system with feasibility for 124 remote branch offices of BRAC Uganda to replace diesel generators.3. Implemented the organization’s procurement guideline in Uganda to ensure transparency and integrity of the procurement activities and complied with the requirements of the external auditor KPMG.4. Sourced and distributed solar PV integrated LED light, mobile charger and improved cooking stove along with other materials to 150 branch offices all over the country.5. Trained 20+ branch managers on the best procurement practices.6. Enlisted 60+ vendors through checking compliance documents and visiting their factory premises for procuring within the budget which prevented delay in supplier selection. 7. Introduced central data entry system at Uganda for sharing and monitoring monthly operation cost as per the yearly plan and budget.

Evaluated, negotiated and contracted for delivery, installation, testing and commissioning of required machines and spare parts for different BRAC social enterprises (i.e., dairy and food, seed processing, fisheries, chicken processing, etc.). 2. Prepared and published national and international tender documents to receive the minimum required number of quotes. 3. Prepared SLAs (Service Level Agreement) to reduce cost and avoided multiple orders.4. Coordinated the piloting project of biogas based power plant from municipal solid waste.

Dhaka

1. Sourced spare parts and services with required specification and quantity from various suppliers which ensured sufficient stock for aircraft maintenance engineers.2. Provided emergency procurement services during aircraft-on-ground situations using my flexibility and “can do” attitude.3. Arranged aircraft parts for shipment to the respective buyers.4. Documented all procurement records and spare parts status in the ERP system which reduced the company purchase rate by 30%.
