My teaching journey began 20 years ago. I loved teaching K-12 at our local schools so much that it led me to become a certified secondary biology teacher. My online teaching journey began with VIPKID almost 7 years ago. I’ve taught over 4,400 classes to 1,413 students of every age. My class-to-student ratio shows my student loyalty. I’ve had special moments that brought me to tears with VIPKID when I was able to see my longtime, loyal students' achievements during assessments. It was especially touching to see them physically growing up with each passing year, as well.My Outschool journey began in 2023. My students consist of elementary through high school with varying levels of ability. Some are high schoolers with a 3rd-grade spelling level due to dyslexia and more. They were able to make significant progress through my spelling program. I’m comfortable teaching any subject and all grade levels. I’m passionate about teaching and love seeing students gain confidence and make progress. I believe learning never stops and everyone can find joy in all there is to learn.
