Responsible for daily Information Systems operations, infrastructure and security in addition to all technology implementations. This would include help desk operation, rating support, core system change management, insurance product implementation, hardware procurement, departmental budgeting as well as support of the public facing facilities technology. As part of this role, attention was maintained on emerging Insurance Technology as well as other technologies which could be introduced to enhance organizational efficiency and continue to facilitate Trillium's unique culture.Also required to assist in strategic planning for the organization, with a strong emphasis on IT governance.

Ensure operational efficiency, adhere to timelines for introduction of new products, liaise with technology vendors and engage for support and development where required and when budget allows.

Primarily responsible for working with the Business Development unit to implement new insurance products within our core system as well as supporting systems infrastructure. This would include requirements gathering, obtaining necessary approvals, programming changes in core system and rating engine, perform necessary regression testing and user acceptance testing and engage downstream work units for additional end user testing prior to production deployment.

Ensure delivery of the support department tasked with supporting Applied Rating Services Canadian operations. Adhere to regular reporting metrics surrounding defect resolution and service levels. Regularly monitor employee performance and deliver feedback at a regular cadence.

Assemble brake and suspension modules in an efficient and quality minded fashion.

Support AT&T U-verse clients in the use of their U-verse equipment and services.

Assist ENMAX clients with any customer service inquiries pertaining to their Electricity and Natural Gas, as well as municipal water and sewer accounts. This entailed creating/terminating accounts, billing inquiries, billing adjustments, escalation mitigation and data entry.
