Institutional Repository and Digital Asset Management • Develops, manages, and promotes use of the Augsburg University institutional repository. • Collaborates with library staff and internal partners to identify and prioritize collections for inclusion in the repository; solicits content from faculty and campus partners. • Recommends policies, writes procedures, and documents processes for ingesting content into the repository. • Monitors trends in repository and digital assets management; recommends service enhancements, technological innovations, and policy or procedural changes in response.Electronic Resources and Web Development• Maintains the discovery layer and library services platform for Augsburg University• Ensures access to electronic resources by maintaining the proxy server and knowledgebase. • Develops and maintains the libraries’ web presence for Augsburg University. • Implements new online services as needed. Research Services • Actively engages with and develops strong working relationships with faculty, students, and staff in assigned departments.• Develops and delivers instructional programs and learning materials in a variety of formats to users at Augsburg’s Minneapolis, St. Paul, and/or Rochester locations; assesses effectiveness of instructional programs. • Provides in-depth reference services and one-on-one research consultations as needed. • Creates and maintains appropriate online research guides. • Builds and maintains collections to support the research, teaching, and learning needs of the Augsburg University community; actively participates in collection management projects such as serials cancellation or weeding.
