Human Resources Manager
CurrentHuman Resources Manager of the Windsor and Chatham Human Resources team to deliver end to end people services and solutions to branch employees and leaders. Oversee local recruitment, onboarding, employee engagement, employee relations, including leading and participating in comprehensive investigations and implementing Bayshore policies and proceduresTogether with the Director & HR Business Partner along with Windsor and Chatham Branches Leadership Team, ensures that HR programs and procedures support the current business needsServe as the main point of contact for all branch employee related HR questions and concernsOversee the HR administration within the HRIS system, benefits program, employee relations and payroll related inquiriesManage employee attendance, performance and the off-boarding processes, including performing exit interviewsProvide coaching and advice to direct reports and Windsor and Chatham branches people leaders to drive the people process including performance, development, and career opportunities for internal talentManage Privacy Requests for Information, working alongside branch leaders to facilitate completion of sameSubject matter expert in all matters related to provincial legislation in Ontario, including:Employment Standards Act (ESA)Human Rights Code (HRC)Occupational Health and Safety Act (OHSA)Labour Relations Act (LRA) (if applicable)Compliance Champion ensuring the Windsor and Chatham branches operate in adherence to these provincial laws and regulations. Reviewing and updating branch policies and procedures to comply with changing laws.Conducting compliance audits and training sessions for branch managers and employees. Working effectively with the HR team to manage employee relations, HR programs, and administrative tasks across all Windsor and Chatham branch locations.Facilitating communication and collaboration between the HR team, branch managers, and employees across different locations.
