Matt Costa is a Head of Procurement, Sustainability, and Supply Chain Finance at Labatt Breweries of Canada. Colleagues describe him as "Matt was my Mentor in 2022 through ABI’s “Women in Beer & Beyond” Program. Throughout the mentorship we focused on three main objectives to help me achieve my career goals; expanding my current role, developing a network & delivering executive presentations. Matt has encouraged me to mentor new team members, working to increase my scope, and taking leadership opportunities in programs. As a result of this and the work we’ve done together I recently received a promotion and will be taking a leadership role on my team!! Matt has also encouraged me to increase my network, teaching me how to utilize resources and to ask meaningful questions. Through this process I connected with multiple leaders throughout the organization. He has also coached me on preparing and delivering executive presentations.
