I had the opportunity to pivot from training to learning design in 2021, and my time as a learning designer has truly been the highlight of my career. As a learning designer, I design, develop, and evaluate scalable learning solutions for 1,400 learners across all of Guild's business units. In my role, I collaborate with subject matter experts and cross-functional stakeholders to draft actionable learning objectives and to gain consensus throughout the development process. I specialize in creating intuitive, universally accessible learning solutions that align with the principles of adult learning theory and UX/UI, with a particular emphasis on providing multiple means of engagement through the strategic use of multimedia.

After the implementation of several highly successful training initatives, I was promoted from associate trainer to trainer, where I became responsible for all launch and expansion trainings relating to the employer partners that Guild supports. My primary role function was to scope, develop, and evaluate the success of elearnings, however I also created and delivered several virtual, instructor-led (VILT) trainings during this time as well.

Guild Education is on a mission to make debt-free higher education accessible to America’s workforce. We partner with large corporations to offer education as an employee benefit, and we work closely with their employees to offer coaching and support throughout their degree program. As an education coach, I helped Walmart and Rock FOC employees navigate their benefit, select programs that aligned with their goals, and guided them through the enrollment process for their chosen programs. I established myself as a strong contributor to the Education Coaching team by leading the group in several outcome metrics and by designing and facilitating trainings for my peers.

Glo Skin Beauty is a professional skincare and makeup company, specializing in backbar peels, efficacious skincare, and mineral makeup. As an Inside Business Consultant, I partnered with 190 dermatologist offices, spas, and salons across 11 states to facilitate the growth of their business using Glo Skin Beauty products. I regularly facilitated advanced virtual and in-person trainings, and I traveled bi-monthly to support events, conduct meetings, and prospect new accounts. I consistently exceeded all goals, generating the third highest YOY increase among 48 Business Consultants, with the second highest revenue overall for 2019.

As an education manager, I oversaw all hiring, training, and ongoing development of the 33-person team at the 29th Street location. In my role, I served as the primary point of contact for all brand partners and vendors for my location, and coordinated events and team trainings to successfully drive brand sales. As a leader, I regularly coached all members of the 29th Street team, with a strong emphasis on developing elevated employees towards leadership roles. In addition to supporting my own store, I also facilitated trainings to onboard education managers at other locations across two different states. Over the two years I worked at the Boulder location, I drove key metrics and created a strong internal culture around education, solidifying my store as both the district and regional leader in education.

I stepped into my first leadership role in 2015. I drove company initiatives by motivating and actively developing a team of 15 cashiers. During my time as a cashwrap manager, I increased Mobile POS usage by 15% and increased Beauty Insider sign-ups by 11%.

In 2013 I became one of the first facilitators to pilot Sephora’s client class program. As a Sephora University Beauty Class facilitator I led over 100 client classes, and my team consistently led the district in SUBC sales between 2013 and 2015. During my time at Sephora, I was considered to be a leading expert in the SUBC program within the southwest region, with experience in conducting SUBC onboarding training for store directors in other districts.

As a Beauty Studio Coordinator, I oversaw all services that took place in the Park Meadows location. I partnered closely with leadership to achieve company initiatives, and I facilitated a 6% yearly increase in Beauty Studio sales.
