Aircraft Holdings USA owned equipment it leased to third parties in Cincinnati Ohio. It's principle business was a sale lease-back arrangement with Cincinnati Incorporated. With Michiel moving to Miami Beach Florida in 2014, Aircraft Holdings has sold all its assets in Cincinnati Ohio.

In 2008 Michiel and his family purchased Cincinnati Incorporated and Michiel took over as President CEO. As President CEO, Michiel grew Cincinnati Incorporated to generate $112M+ in revenue with an EBITDA of $8M+. The company has been profitable every year since Michiel took charge. The family recently rejected a purchase offer of $45M from a venture capital firm.

Shipping machines was the biggest hurdle to making the revenue numbers in 2006. Michiel took over the plant and turned it around. He introduced a lean culture as a part of an accountability program and dramatically improved output so that shipments schedules were once again met. In 2012, Cincinnati Incorporated shipped more than twice the product per employee compared to 2006. The turn around of the manufacturing plant was crucial in getting a stabilized shipment flow and resulting cash flow in the company.

To get involved in Cincinnati Incorporated, I started as Marketing manager and successfully initiated the change in image of a sleepy 100+ year-old machine tool company to a technological powerhouse. This included publishing all new brochures, launching a new website, initiating an e-commerce portal, pricing that was in line with competition and defining product features needed for the future. The Marketing Manager position gave me insight into the company as well as all it's customers.

My first start-up was Predict-A-Grind; a software development company where we designed and wrote the software used to analyze grinding operations in manufacturing processes. I sold this company to Cincinnati Milacron in 1994. During this time I was involved in 13 different start up companies many of which I sold and are still in operation today.

350EVO manufactures and distributes Nissan racing and performance automotive parts. 350EVO was the main sponsor of Schuitemaker Motorsports during the 2003 and 2004 Grand-Am racing season. In 2003 the team won 3rd and it won 2nd place in 2004 for the Grand-Am Championship (now ALMS, IMSA). 350EVO is known for manufacturing high quality automotive racing parts that are tested in race conditions and are proven to win races.

I started Schuitemaker Motorsports to persue my life long dream of automotive racing. We raced for 7 years all over North America and won 3rd in 2003. In 2004 we finished 2nd in the American Rolex Grand-Am Cup (now ALMS, IMSA) as the first Privateer team behind Porsche. Today, the automotive racing team is still active under the guidance of John Wright and won 3rd place at the Rolex Daytona 24 Hours. We have a 12,000 square feet race car preparation facility next to the Cleremont County Airport where we prep cars for amateur as well as other professional racing teams. Our main focus is Porsche with which we race in numerous championships.

The Nerd Patrol is an IT support company specializing in helping small to medium sized businesses. The roots of The Nerd Patrol are in conventional PC and network support but today have expanded into setting up VOIP solutions for companies up to 250 users. The Nerd Patrol is based in Cincinnati Ohio.

Michiel bought into Stage Accompany (SA) and started Stage Accompany USA. As President CEO, Michiel set up a sales, service and distribution network in the USA. SA manufactures and distributes professional audio equipment; Amplifiers, Equalizers and a proprietary Ribbon High Frequency Drivers used in all SA Speakers. Michiel secured contracts with Rod Stewart, Prince, WWF and Def Leppard to just name a few. In 2000 Michiel sold his equity position with an offer he couldn't refuse.

At Cincinnati Milacron I was responsible for the sales and marketing activities in Canada, Central and South America. This included the blending facility in Toronto Canada as well as the Manufacturing facility in Nogales Mexico.
