As Director of Online Learning and Support for the Division of Continual Learning (DCL) at The University of North Carolina at Greensboro (UNCG), Scott managed a team of 30 instructional designers, coders, and artists to develop online courses that focus on student-centered learning and cutting edge technology. Scott and his staff developed the game-based learning tool Economics 201, which was the first undergraduate online college course produced entirely as a 3D game. This award-winning course and other interactive, Web-based courses developed under Scott's leadership helped to herald in a new generation of game-based learning for the UNC system.
