I’m an Entrepreneur, Strategist, and Advisor. My role as Executive Director was to ensure that MMDS operated fully within the framework of California's Proposition 215 law, and that our focus remained on providing medicine to patients - this required a deep understanding of the emerging legal framework MMDS was operating in as well as a vision for organizational planning, operations, and corporate and brand strategy. I oversaw a large team working across marketing, legal, strategy/expansion, operations, and supply chain functionalities. Our work ultimately became a guiding force in the city-wide implementation of compassionate access to medical marijuana for bay area residents with serious medical issues.
