I joined the add/update team which was responsible for keeping millions of products updated each day.I moved most of the jobs to a GitOps platform called ArgoCD. Also optimized and refactored many parts of the code base which leads to great reduction in CPU and Ram usage.I used Grafana Loki and VictoriaMetrics to improve monitoring and observability of services.Also I resolved many pain points and bottlenecks.

I developed REST APIs using Spring framework and Spring boot and deployed them to Kubernetes using Ansible and Helm. I was involved in upgrading some of the Java web apps from Java 8 to Java 17.Also I maintained the Gerrit code review service and Jenkins CI/CD platform for some time.

Our task was creating a small scale search engine with 4 baremetal servers. I have learned many concepts about distributed systems and distributed computing. I implemented some map reduce jobs with Apache Spark and HDFS. Also I learned to setup Kafka, Elasticsearch, Hadoop and HBase in clustered mode with replication enabled

I was creating WordPress templates and plugins using PHP 5.6. Also delivered a project which was created with Codeigniter framework.Involved in developing and maintaining an Iranian CMS called Apadana.
