Currently helping mature the Consumer Experience Design practice across the newly integrated organization. Focused on expanding our experience work to encompass the full consumer journey, both on- and off-screen, and its impact on operational and clinical workflows.

Established Advocate Aurora's design strategy and research practice. Evangelize design methodologies. Mentor junior designers in UX skills. Maintain a regular cadence of user research across Advocate Aurora's digital properties. Wireframing and prototyping. Lead Design Sprints as a way to bring teams across the organization together to design collaboratively. Spearheaded a User Exposure Hours program to get Digital Experience team members into clinics, hospitals, and support sites to gain a more holistic and empathetic understanding of all the areas that our work impacts.

Created and led the UX Research practice for the Building Efficiency line of business. Recruited for, planned, and facilitated user research initiatives globally. Mentored UX team members in qualitative research methodology. Contributed to content strategy, content creation, and led user research activities for company-wide Design Language System. Acted as a relentless user advocate. Also led Information Architecture activities and facilitated Innovation Workshops.

A local UX meetup group I co-founded with Mike Kornacki. I developed meeting topics, coordinated logistics, and mined the UX community for compelling, inspiring speakers. Also wrote blog posts and managed the group's social presence. Our meetings regularly attracted 40+ local attendees and we hosted speakers from across the country.

After an intensive mentoring process in research methodologies, I led website usability testing initiatives for leisure travel brands like Southwest Vacations, Funjet Vacations, and VAX VacationAccess. Participant pools for testing included travel agents and general consumers. Worked with external recruiting firm to define user profiles and identify appropriate participants. Conducted heuristic evaluations. Presented research findings and fixes to internal clients.
