I'm a Peabody award-winning Chicago-area writer, artist, and content creator with over 15 years of experience using the internet to tell compelling stories through interactive, multi-platform experiences. My love of our local natural areas led me to become the Communications Director at Indiana Dunes Tourism, where I promote the Indiana Dunes National Park, State Park, as well as the businesses in the local communities.
Previously, I worked on media projects for Ford Motor Company, General Electric, the U.S. Military, AARP, and the Corporation for Public Broadcasting. In 2017, I was chosen to be a participant in Forward/Story's Indonesian residential lab for international interactive creators. I was also a creative mentor at Bay Area Video Coalition's Producer's Institute, where we designed a game to teach people about the difficulties Iraqi refugees face in the United States. My hobbies are hiking, volunteering at our national park’s farm, and playing games. I once cracked a code in a collaborative puzzle hunt and found actual buried treasure at a rest stop near South Bend, IN.
