Building on top of my previous position. Specializing in PLC programming with the main focus being on device, robot cell, and machine tool interfaces programming across Beckhoff TwinCAT 3, Beckhoff TwinCAT 2, and Codesys environments.My responsibilities extended to integrating a diverse range of machine tools for example from companies like DMG Mori and Heller to Heckert, Matsuura, Okuma, Grob, FFG Werke, and Dörries Scharmann. A vast range of machine tool builders also meant dealing with a vast range of CNC controllers and technologies such as Siemens, Fanuc, Heidenhain, Mori MAPPS, and Mori MAPPS V. I also designed interfaces for various devices, including loading stations, conveyors, central tool storage robots, and tool-handling Gantry robots. These solutions are used by organizations such as Daimler (Germany), Nefit Industrial (Netherlands), Wirtgen GmbH (Germany), Cosworth Ltd (UK), Konepaja Seppo Suomi Oy (Finland) and BAE (UK).My responsibilities extended to the integration of robot cells featuring Fanuc, KUKA, and ABB robots, as well as dealing with hydraulic fixtures from manufacturers like DMG Mori, Heller, SAV, and Sisma.In my role, I handled configuration, commissioning, and customer training for Fastems MMS-systems. As a member of the research and development team, I contributed to the ongoing development of our PLC framework. Furthermore, I provided support by conducting fault diagnostics and problem-solving directly on customer premises, ensuring the smooth and reliable operation of our systems.

Identifying the original, pre-modernization system state / functionality by going over the existing system architecture and PLC-code. The oldest of these modernized systems were originally commissioned in the mid 80s.My job description also involved configuration and commissioning of Fastems manufacturing management systems (MMS-systems). On occasional l projects I was also responsible for the customer training.To help to keep our system running I was a part of our Global support team offering customer support and fault diagnostics 24/7.

Researching situation awareness technologies and their impact on the development of the future military vehicles. Main area of focus of the research was various sensor- and surveillance technologies and the related data transfer technologies. Based on the results of the research I developed a technological implementation and deployment plan which gives guidelines for the future vehicle development.

Part-time teacher on various courses including Basic course in Automation Technology, Control of Dynamic Systems, Basic course in Systems Technology, Introduction to control. and Introduction to control and automation. I was responsible for the teaching of laboratory and computer exercises for the aforementioned courses.

Deployment of automated testing solutions and test coverage analysis for LEAN-product framework. In addition, I was responsible for generating XML- and XSTL-based reports for TRAC-environment. My work has made it possible to test the product framework in Hudson Cl-environment which greatly simplifies quality control and helps to maintain the integrity of the product framework. Automated reports sent to TRAC-environment ensure that the possible problems in the product framework are announced to all of the software development teams.

Software development for Perl-based testing engine utilized in testing of PatriaSOA product framework and Visual Basic/HTML based tools used for installing accompanying software to Microsoft environments. The development done for the testing engine makes it possible to automate component testing in Windows environment.

Development of adesign database and generation of circuit diagram templates in the following Neste Jacobs Oy projects: Borealis Polyolefine GmbH Austria Pilot and GPR3. My work enabled the automatic generation of circuit diagrams from the contents of a SPI-design (Smart Plant Instrumentation) database.
