At Project Strengthening our Society (SOS) in Jacksonville, Florida, I have the privilege of “Educating, Equipping and Empowering” middle and high school youth to make healthy life choices. Through leading engaging presentations and "edutaining" life skills courses on goal setting, establishing boundaries, overcoming peer pressure and more, I passionately motivate over 13,000 youth throughout various counties in Jacksonville and the surrounding areas. Administratively, I have the privilege of leading curriculum development projects, I complete a variety of youth programming design, implementation and grant writing task, and lead varying professional development sessions for youth development professionals and educators in Jacksonville, Florida and throughout the state of Florida via online education.

As a teacher for Duval County Public Schools, I mentored and motivated students to understand the connection between education and life outcomes.I also worked on a special project and led a team of teachers and nonprofit Youth Development Specialists in the creation of a NEW positive youth development life skills transition course for sixth and ninth grade students in 23 Title I Duval County Public Schools (11 MS and 12 HS)I relentlessly worked to use youth development research, frameworks and curriculum to design course standards, benchmarks, course content, lessons and assessments for the new semester course and I prepared and presented training and professional development sessions for all middle and high school transition course teachers to effectively implement the new course.
