• Perform complex labor data collection and analysis, analyze workforce demographics, succession planning, attrition and recruitment. Analyze cost/value of pension and healthcare benefits.
• Assess the merits and costs associated with City and union economic proposals during bargaining and arbitration. Develop bargaining and arbitration exhibits.
• Audit department pay practices. Produce and give presentations on best practices to department payroll and human resources staff.
• Conduct salary surveys of surrounding jurisdictions assessing base pay and other data points of total compensation. Present salary survey reports to Civil Service Commission.

Youth Commission - Board Of Supervisors

• Created and implemented age appropriate and culturally competent training curriculum to prepare Youth Commissioners for their work as policy advisors focusing on addressing the unmet needs of youth in the City.
• Worked with Youth Commissioners in developing their ability to articulate policy recommendations through interpreting legislation, writing resolutions, writing policy priorities and working collaboratively with the.
• Represented the Youth Commission in various contexts and developed collaborative relationships with government officials, school officials, and community organizations throughout the City.
• Tracked, researched, and reviewed newly introduced legislation assessing impact on Bay Area youth.
• Compiled agendas and clerked Youth Commission meetings. Ensured compliance with Brown Act, Sunshine Ordinance and other legal requirements.

• Researched and drafted legal comments and responses on notices of proposed rulemaking released by the FCC. Drafted impact reports for management and other stakeholders.
