I have always loved problem-solving whether it be academically, in professional work, or in games; I've sought out this challenge in every aspect of my daily life, and thus my love for programming was born. The desire to learn more about algorithms, mathematics, and new programming languages has been my primary drive to develop my problem-solving skills. A passion for creating games and solving problems ever since a young age has been a motivation for me, furthering my understanding of how different situations and tasks can be solved in a variety of ways.I am grateful for my previous work experiences; I first volunteered as an IT specialist for Future Majority, where I guided the group members through technical issues. I then was hired as an intern tasked with managing database information and performing QA testing on new query features. My latest opportunity was with Tucows Inc. as a Junior Software Engineer for the OpenSRS Domains Team, where I was provided with vital knowledge of what to expect from the workplace after graduation. Throughout my time as a student and an intern, the strongest skill I have developed is how to stay an adaptable worker. As much as I love diving into a problem head first, the said motivation can be drained quickly as soon as I encounter a roadblock. Yet, said challenges will always be present in any job and the focus should be remaining resilient through the task which will make completing it more rewarding. Furthermore, in team activities, my experiences have helped me develop my conflict resolution skills among group members. I am flexible in my group role, and if I need to step up as a leader I will do so to ensure the task is done with the best possible work being produced. All in all, my goal is to enhance my knowledge of coding techniques and the industry landscape to further my understanding of different ways to solve problems and look at tasks from an alternative perspective. What it truly comes down to is an innate desire to help make others' lives easier, and to resolve the issues that they face on a day-to-day basis.Notable Computer Science Skills:Proficient in Python, Linux, JavaScript, HTML, CSS, Vue.js, NodeJS, Numpy, Pandas, Perl, SQL, Git, Docker, C, C++, and LaTeX that were used to design several applications following the Agile UP or CI/CD Pipeline methodology.
