Michael Shayto is a Head of Communication at Xponential Capital, a venture capital firm that invests in early-stage technology startups. He has over 15 years of Management, Accounting and public relations experience and holds the credentials of Certified Public Accountant (CPA) and Chartered Global Management Accountant (CGMA). His mission is to help entrepreneurs and innovators communicate their vision and value to the world, and to foster a culture of collaboration and excellence within the firm and its portfolio companies.Prior to joining Xponential Capital in 2022, Michael was a Managing Partner at Freeman Stanley, a tax advisory and accounting firm, where he led complex tax research teams for clients across industries, including healthcare and real estate. He also implemented strategic systems and procedures that enhanced the profitability and sustainability of the firm and its clients. He has a Bachelor of Business Administration from the University of Michigan and a Bachelor of Science in Accounting from Wayne State University. He is also certified in Blockchain Fundamentals for Accounting and Finance Professionals by the AICPA.
