• Increased Motorola sales 30% in 3 years, from $18.7 million to $24.4 million, even as Motorola was beginning to scale back assembly operations.
• Created a financial model/solution to optimize Motorola’s RONA incentives for their Philippines facility.

• Relocated to Tokyo for 1 year directing 35 Japanese support engineers. Managed several multi-discipline projects for Japanese customers to enable integration of K&S equipment into customers’ factory automation plans.
• Managed field support engineers and resolved several equipment issues unique to Japanese customers.
• Created monthly technology exchanges with Tanaka Wire as a method of resolving customer issues.

• Created and organized this new engineering group to develop new semiconductor assembly processes, and develop new methods and technologies.
• Co-authored numerous papers & articles, authored Wire Bonding Chapter for the Microelectronics Handbook, published by IBM, and awarded 2 semiconductor wire bonding patents.
