They are what drive him on a daily basis and feed his creative process that finds its inspiration in the classic footwear traditions of his native land and its sublimation in modern design, to yield results that are viable both conceptually and commercially. Each project follows a path of realization that begins with an idea which, thanks to passion and experience, is transformed into a practical solution. The mind represents the starting point of a journey towards the foot – the destination – by way of the heart and hands. OS FOOTWEAR DESIGN is a product design driven footwear studio with complete branding, design, development, prototyping and factory sourcing capabilities.
 The studio is comprised of two globally conscious and passionate designers with a love for life.Founders, Salvatore Oliva and Marco Simonetti, established OS in 2007. The OS COUNTRY studio is located in the vineyard rich countryside of the Marche Italy and the OS OCEAN studio is located in Portland, Oregon USA.
 Both designers share a creative energy stemming from the land and ocean of their youth, the historic footwear tradition of their native regions and fifteen years of combined international footwear design experience working for brands such as: Tod’s, Camper, Diesel, Converse, Nautica, Clarks-England, Rockport and Hilfiger.
