As Head of Export Control & Customs I was responsible for a team of experts working with governance and compliance in export controls and customs processes in Siemens Wind Power ranging from implementation, maintenance and controlling of EU and US export control laws to the design, implementation and daily enforcement of customs processes through guidelines and internal audit programs for Siemens Wind Power, as well as identifying and implementing measures to ensure an efficient duty management and reduction program.
