As a passionate advocate for public health, I bring to the workforce my strong foundation in health policy, experience designing and leading impactful public health programs, and unwavering commitment to advancing women's health education. My professional journey has been shaped by my roles as a policy analyst for both the Canadian Food Inspection Agency and the Public Health Agency of Canada. My trajectory led me to pivot towards community-focused initiatives, culminating in my current role as the HIV/HCV Knowledge Exchange and Translation Coordinator at Options for Sexual Health. Here, I spearhead efforts to bridge knowledge gaps and facilitate the translation of expertise into actionable strategies for women living with or at risk of HIV and/or Hep C.My skill set encompasses a blend of policy analysis, interdisciplinary collaboration, and program design and leadership, all framed through the lens of public health. Community engagement work strongly resonates with my core values and I'm excited to continue to explore opportunities where I can leverage my passion for community-focused public health initiatives to drive meaningful change.
