"Make it scary!" I exclaimed.I remember telling my dad I wanted a headless horseman to be on my middle school's Halloween dance flyer. Using Photoshop, he brought my imagination to life. He took a thought and turned it into something tangible, something I believed was impossible to do. I saw the headless horseman and my eyes lit up. At that moment I knew that I wanted to create. I wanted to be a designer.Art has always been an influential part of my life ever since my childhood. I was overfilled with joy whenever I could incorporate an artistic component to my projects and it still rings true to this day. What once started off as a middle school flyer eventually evolved into designing for amazing brands where I can leverage my expertise and express my passions.A brand’s identity is the essence of a company. It is crucial that it be reflected in all aspects of the design in order to communicate to the world who they are. I aspire to design for companies that have a purpose in the world. I want to help them market themselves in the best way possible through design and marketing. As a creative, I define success as the moment that I can show the world who these companies are and the values they stand by.
