I am M Sanjay Kumar Naidu, an engineering professional offering 33+ years of experience in Chemical Engineering & Metallurgy. I hold a degree in Chemical Engineering and have received training at 2 of the most reputed institutions of the country in the field of Nuclear Energy. I started my career through selection at the Department of Atomic Energy and was appointed as Trainee Engineer for a year at the “Bhabha Atomic Research Centre – Mumbai”. Upon completion of the training, I was appointed as Operations Engineer (Fast Breeder Test Reactor) at the Indira Gandhi Centre for Atomic Research, Kalpakkam (TN) – India. The training and grooming received by me during these 7 years have formed the foundation of my career.My association with the Vizag Plant has been since 1987, working for a third party management consultant in the field of Metallurgy, contributing towards the Construction Project. And thereafter I was appointed as Design Engg through a third party supplier for Commissioning of the Plant. In 1991, I was brought on the payroll of Vizag Steel and since then I have been associated with them. I have applied my engineering skills in leading the Operations & Commissioning of Benzol Plant and managing the Coke Oven Batteries. And since 2011, I have been managing the Environment related initiatives in the Plant.Retired from Visakhapatnam Steel Plant as a Dy. GM . in 2018.Presently, working with NMDC Steel Plant at Jagdalpur ( Chhattisgarh ) and looking after Coke Ovens.I offer strong engineering skills with applied understanding of Plant Operations Management.
