Monarch Art and Wellness is a Chicago-based public programming initiative established in reaction to a lack of representation of women, non-binary creatives and femmes at recent summer festivals. Monarch aims to bridge the gap between art and wellness while providing vendors and visitors with a rich network of local women, gender non-binary, and femme practitioners. Through a diverse roster of public programs on physical, mental, spiritual, sexual wellness, Monarch functions as a collaborative project providing local healing resources for women, gender non-binary and femme communities and people of color. Monarch serves to establish a dynamic, intersecting network among Chicago creatives through interactive events and spaces for healing, honesty, and reflection.

Chicago Architecture Center is a nonprofit cultural organization with tours, exhibitions, programs and events for all ages. Each year the Chicago Architecture Center produces a free annual festival offering indoor access to over 350 buildings of architectural, cultural and historical significance.

ECLIPSING is a collaborative, multi-media festival, centering the work of artists and healers who find inspiration and strength within self-defined interpretations of darkness. ECLIPSING creates space for LGBTQIA+ artists and performers, namely trans & queer people of color, to cross boundaries between mediums, and to mobilize and harness darkness’s metaphorical and metaphysical qualities, creating space for reckoning and collective healing

LATITUDE | Chicago is a non-profit organization providing affordable access to high-end digital equipment for the creation of artwork. LATITUDE maintains a community digital lab with high-end scanning and printing equipment, operates an artist in residence program, and organizes regular education & arts programming. LATITUDE's artist in residence program grants a diverse group of 8-10 artists full access to LATITUDE's facilities and community to develop their practice. During their one-month residency, artists are given free ink, lifetime free lab access, a personal workstation, training and guidance by our staff, and an organized public event to present their new work.

Teen Lab is an experimental after-school arts program developed by the Department of Learning and Public Engagement at the Art Insititute of Chicago. Teens spend time in the museum studios creating artwork and exploring the museum collections, participate in exploratory workshops with visiting artists, and share work in a public reception at the Art Institute.

Each year the Department of Learning and Public Engagement (LPE) at the Art Institute of Chicago assembles a cohort for an immersive eight-week experience in museum teaching. Fellows participated in an orientation to museum education theory and practice and then engaged in hands-on learning by designing and facilitating tours and programs for a variety of audiences. Activities include: leading thematic tours for youth groups, intergenerational family groups, and adult audiences; designing and facilitating gallery activities; participating in research and writing projects; attending weekly museum career seminars; active reflection through writing and conversation.
