Included “Highlander Chats,” informal interviews with C-suite alumni including the President of Stryker Orthopaedics, the chief evangelist of Amazon Alexa, the CIO of Chobani, the Director of Competitive Strategy, North America for Microsoft, the former President of Exxon Middle East, and a 4-star General, USAF, among others. Implemented Highlander Nation online community and mentorship platform. Designed and implemented “Highlander Monthly” e-newsletter, including targeted content per audience demographic. Sent out electronically to over 50,000 alumni. Primary liaison for alumni engagement to all university leadership groups and departments. I regularly reported on alumni engagement activities and metrics to the Board of Trustees, Overseers, college Boards of Visitors, as well as NJIT’s President, Provost, and college deans. The series has consisted of educational panels on entrepreneurism, fashion, interior design, and building franchise businesses.-Responsible for all aspects of planning and implementation of Berkeley’s first Alumni Reunion in New Jersey and New York.Responsible for all alumni communications.-Increased alumni personal e-mail addresses from 6,000 to approximately 19,000.-Increased average alumni e-newsletter open rates from 6% to 13% on average.-Launched and redesigned alumni website.-Launched and redesigned alumni e-newsletter.-Launched Berkeley College Alumni Association Facebook page, communicating with more than 700 fans.-Maintain Alumni LinkedIn group, increased membership by 60%.-Created pipeline of more than 50 alumni success profiles for newsletter, campus and College-wide distribution.-Worked with Media Department to facilitate dozens of alumni interviews and video shoots for use throughoutthe College.

As Director of Alumni Relations at Kean University, I served as the primary manager for all alumni events, including Homecoming, our Distinguished Alumni Awards, an alumni reception at the NJEA Teachers Conference, several Kean Career Network events, and many others. I was responsible for the development and oversight of all communications to alumni, and worked with Development to ensure cross-message branding.
