Project Development Officer
CurrentActively engage in the comprehensive implementation and monitoring of social and environmental safeguards within the project. This involves receiving and responding to grievance reports, conducting thorough investigations, and ensuring resolutions are effectively provided. Facilitate and participate in project-related meetings, including reassessing contractors, consultants, and local government units (LGUs) regarding Grievance Redress Mechanism (GRM) implementation. Oversee GRM operations and provide essential eGRM training for the railway Project Management Office (PMO), contractors, consultants, and LGUs. Handling the submission and review of GRM-related documentation is a key aspect of my responsibilities, along with ensuring the mobilization of the GRM Physical Helpdesk. Led the organizing and conducting of capacity-building activities and training for helpdesk officers and staff in the project, coordination, and collaboration on the mobilization of GRM committees and counterparts. My role extends to providing technical assistance for project-related issues and acting as the Deputy Lead for the GRM, contributing significantly to the seamless functioning of the grievance redress mechanism in the project.
